How do I qualify for a house call visit by Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC?

ANSWER:

You may qualify for a house call visit by our group of healthcare practitioners if:

1.You use a device to walk, such as a cane, walker, a scooter, or a wheelchair, OR
2. You do not drive and REQUIRE the assistance of someone else in order to get to your doctor’s office OR
3. You are visually impaired, OR
4. You have a memory disorder that makes it dangerous for you to go out alone, OR
5. You are bedridden, OR
6. You have had recent surgery and must limit activity, OR
7. Leaving home requires a considerable or taxing effort.

QUESTION:

What insurance does Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC accept?

ANSWER:

We accept Medicare and most Private Insurance plans. We directly bill Medicare and all secondary/supplemental insurance plans. We only bill the patient directly if there is an unpaid balance which is not covered by Medicare or the secondary/supplemental insurance plan, which usually is your deductible or co-payment that you might have under your current insurance plan.

ANSWER:

Yes we accept payment by Credit Card, Personal Check or Money Order.

QUESTION:

Do house calls cost more than a regular office visit?

ANSWER:

Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC charges only what is allowed by Medicare. There are no additional charges or hidden costs. You will still need to pay the applicable co- pay and deductible amounts that you might have under your existing insurance plan.

How soon is a doctor available to visit?

ANSWER:

In most situations, a doctor visit can typically be scheduled to visit you within 24-48 hours (during the week) of receiving your call.

QUESTION:

Does Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC see patients on the weekend?

ANSWER:

Typically, the healthcare provider makes the initial visit Monday through Friday.

QUESTION:

How often will I see my Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC provider?

ANSWER:

As often as you need us. If you are sick, your healthcare provider will see you more often. Whether you need us the next day or in a month, we will be there.

QUESTION:

Will I have the same medical provider on every visit?

ANSWER:

we make every effort to send the same provider to you for each visit.

Does Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC replace my office doctor?

ANSWER:

No. Think of Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC as a supplement to your office doctor. We will keep your office doctor updated on your treatment with regularity. We will also consult with any specialty providers you have as deemed necessary. You can still see your office doctor anytime you want.

QUESTION:

What do I do if I need blood work, labs, X-rays, or other diagnostic tests?

ANSWER:

Most diagnostic tests can be performed in the comfort of your own home. If a larger scale test or procedure is necessary, such as an MRI or CT scan, IVPS will make arrangements at a local hospital or diagnostic center.

QUESTION:

What if I have to go to the hospital?

ANSWER:

You are not required to go to any specific hospital. We can assist with your admission to the hospital of your choice.

QUESTION:

Who takes care of me while I am in the hospital?

ANSWER:

Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC will refer you to a hospital specialist if you are admitted to the hospital. We will communicate with the hospital specialist while you are admitted. IVPS will resume your care once you are discharged from the hospital.

QUESTION:

Do Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC come out for emergency visits?

ANSWER:

NO, WE DO NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES! If it is a life threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the emergency room.

QUESTION:

How do I schedule an appointment with Integrated Visiting Physician Solution, PC, and arrange to be seen in my home?

ANSWER:

Call our office to arrange for a medical visit to be scheduled at your convenience. You do not need a referral to use our services.
